The Peas I Am Growing

Peas I Am Growing

Boy am I excited to get goin’ with this year’s pea growin’. I am growing the widest range of varieties this year than I ever have. I have seen a lot more options become available in the last couple years, especially this one. Besides your standard shelling pea and sugar snap, I am growing yellow snow peas, purple snow peas, snap peas with a red blush, peas that are hybertendril (they grow more tendrils that leaves!), and peas that i am growing just for the greens! I am also growing out two varieties from Belgium that I got from my friend Rick Rickman (read more about him here). Each of my three kids is going to grow the Tom Thumb variety in their very own pots, that they each will take care of and decorate.
